Welcome back Bloomers,

It's a beautiful day in Texas and I am loving this crisp weather. Now I always have clients asking what's the best way to decorate a tray whether it's for their living room, bedroom, or bathroom. Today I'm providing you Bloomers with some easy tips to creating the perfect tray full of goodies you'll love.

You'll definitely want to add a bit of variety to your tray and incorporate levels.

1. Adding books (1-3) will give your tray some height differentiation. It is essential to have some form of elevation.

2. A small plant or a vase of flowers will bring life to your tray. If you are going for a modern look greenery is the way to go, pop in a succulent. If you are trying to convey a chic/vintage look, a nice clear glass vase with elegant flowers is a must.

3. Throw in a sculptured or figurine item of your liking. Adding a personable items gives the tray character.

4. Depending on how big your tray is, opt for 2-3 different size candle holders with pillars that accent the room.

5. If using two candleholders, add in a third item for dramatic effect. Rule of three. Objects arranged in three's appear to be more appealing, memorable, and effective.

Bathroom Tray Tips

1. Useful canisters to store q-tips, sponges, cotton balls etc. Use three different height variations.

2. Hand soap and hand lotion would be a great accommodation.

3. Bring some life to the tray with some greenery, flowers, or a flower arrangement.

4. A ring tray would be a good add on here.

5. Lastly you can add a nice clean scented candle to the tray as well as hand towels if in a guest bathroom.
