Welcome back Bloomers.

Now I know there may be some of you that may not have access to a gym. I am here to tell you that you can still achieve those results you want. Shocking right! You can make it work with what you got. So lets get started with some necessities to use during your workouts also items that are easy to use around your home.

This blog is especially recommended to those stay at home moms that do not have the time to get out to a gym. Don't worry ladies I'll walk you through the steps. The purpose of this blog post is to become creative with your workouts and not take no for an answer. YES YOU CAN!!! You can build those glutes right at home and be proud.

Potential Necessities

1. Resistance bands. - These bands are inexpensive and can be found at your local Target or Marshall's. You can even purchase these bands online at Amazon. These bands come in many forms and weight limits. I personally use Fit Chick bands and have an assortment of weight limits.

2. Yoga mat.

- If you do not have a yoga mat using a bath sheet or blanket would do the job as well. This will come in handy when completing ab circuits.

3. House hold items with some weight. Candle pillars, detergent, fabric softner, can goods, a bag of flour or rice, or a gallon of water (my favorite) These items will take the place for dumbbells. See there NO EXCUSES!

Top 5 Favorite Leg Exercises Done at Home

1. Split Squat Lunges. The split squat lunge is an easy leg exercise that you do not need to use a weight bench for. Simply stand in front your sofa in lunge position (facing away from the sofa) with your back foot on the edge of the sofa about ankle length. Perform 3 sets of 10-15 reps.

2. Lunge Kick Backs. These are one of my favorite exercises that can be done holding dumbbells or without. This exercise simply involves adding leg raises/kick backs to a lunge. You should start with one leg extended in front knees bent meanwhile your back leg in on a bended knee. While in lunge position, instead of switching legs, simply stand raising your back leg for a kickback and repeat. Perform 3 sets of 10-15 reps. Feel the burn!!!!! If you have a long hallway or you are working out outside, feel free to incorporate walking into this exercise.

3. Wall Calf Raises. Stand at a 30 degree angle hands against a wall and perform calve raises. Standing with your feet shoulder width apart and heels flat on the ground, raise your heels a few inches high so you are on your tiptoes holding this position for a brief moment before lowering. You will definitely feel the stretch in your calf. Perform 3 sets of 10-15 reps.

4. Resistance Hip Bridge. Pull out those resistance bands if you have them. I usually use about a level 3 during this exercise. Here all you need is a sofa and resistance bands and you are good to go. Place your resistance band about mid thigh and make sure your legs are hip width apart. Start with your back laying on the sofa with the edge of the sofa being at the bottom of your bra line. Simply perform a hip thrust while contracting your legs outward. You haven't felt a burn like this one! Perform 3 sets of 10-15 reps. *This exercise can be performed without resistance bands*

5. Pulsating Squats. This is my FAVORITE gluten activation exercise. Perform a squat with pulsating squat intervals. I love going from a squat to 5-10 pulsating squats. A pulsating squat involves holding at the bottom of a squat as you slowly move up and down a few inches before raising completely. Perform 3 sets of 10-15 reps. *This one will kick you BUTT*
