Welcome back Bloomers! Oh but I have a good one for you today. I recently discovered, during my last shopping trip, that my local Kroger carried fresh dragon fruit. I typically would frozen pink dragon fruit and have never had the actual fruit. I knew I wanted to try to make my own smoothie so I grabbed two.
I was definitely in for a treat today. This truly smoothie is so delicious. I originally planned on preparing with Vanilla yogurt however I quickly realized the one in the fridge was spoiled so I made due with what I had. Best decision creating this smoothie I admit. I could not believe it. I also added a special ingredient. You can thank me later ;)
INGREDIENTS
1/2 c Dragon fruit
1 cup Frozen strawberries, mango, and banana mix
1/2 c Almond Breeze "Hint of Honey" Vanilla Almond-milk
1 Light + Fit Dannon Greek strawberry cheesecake yogurt cup
1 Splash of lime juice
1 scoop Teami Beauty Butterfly Collagen Powder
Blender

*Sugar intake can vary depending on which fruit is used. Mangos and bananas are higher in sugar than blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries. Since I do not eat sweet this was a great cheat snack. Sub the bananas and mangoes for raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries for a healthier alternative.*
DIRECTIONS
Add dragon fruit, frozen fruit, milk, yogurt, lime juice, and collagen powder to blender. Blend for 30 seconds on pulse and pour it up! Now taste the deliciousness.
You can use regular greek yogurt or vanilla as a substitute. I hope you all enjoy this delicious snack! Teami Beauty Butterfly Collagen is made with Butterfly Pea Flower which dates back hundreds of years for its healing benefits. It contains potent antioxidants which help boost the appearance and health of your hair, skin, and nails. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for weekly posts.
