Welcome back Bloomers!
As some of you may know, I got married last November. Yep, that’s right ya girl is MARRIED! Due to COVID, we decided on having a small intimate courthouse ceremony. We were ready to get married and wanted something private we could share with each other. However, you know your girl had a dream wedding in mind to include family and friend. We decided on having a spring wedding March 26, 2022 to be exact.
Everyone knows how stressful planning a wedding can be so we knew it would be best to hire a wedding planner with our hectic schedules. Being a virgo has def helped in this process as I am very detailed oriented and I enjoy planning things in advance. It is very easy for me to get anxiety or have a panic attack if I am not in control of events. i decided to start researching prices of things for a wedding to get a general idea of how much we should start saving. We knew we would be paying for the wedding 100% so it was very important to think about our investment amount. With our wedding being in 2022 we made sure this gave us plenty of time to save for our dream wedding. We first set a budget and decided what we wanted to spend more on. Today, I want to share with you some of the sites that helped us. ORGANIZER

One thing I really love is that you can change dates for the checklist, remove items you don’t need, and add tasks you do need. Utilizing the budget tracker has been phenomenal for us. Once you find all your vendors you simply add all the prices and it will calculate how close you are to your original budget and how much you have paid. Ladies, you will LOVE this feature. BUDGETING
WeddingWire is the truth! I was able to find cost guides for everything I needed. You can use this site to research average prices for all things wedding related in your location or nationwide. We were able to find the lowest price vs the highest price and determine with our budget how much to allocate. Be prepared to reach out to a lot of vendors. You want to stick to your budget so search until you don’t someone with the quality you are looking for and price to match.
I really love the articles on Brides.com. They share so many need to know tips about wedding plan do's and don'ts. One other thing I really love is you can get so many different ideas and helpful advice. For instance if you are struggling with what type of bridesmaid dresses to choose, hairstyles, jewelry, etc there is an article for it all. This has really made my process easier as I was able to narrow down my choices.
